On September 18, 2026, BMSP participated in Securonix UnSummit Singapore 2026 at Pullman Singapore Orchard, Singapore. The event brought together cybersecurity executives and leaders to exchange perspectives on the direction of Security Operations in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Securonix UnSummit Singapore 2026 was held as an invitation-only half-day forum for CISOs, SOC Leaders, and organizational security decision-makers. The event focused on discussions and experience sharing among industry experts rather than a traditional one-way presentation format. Participants also had the opportunity to engage directly with Securonix’s Product and Engineering teams, as well as take part in Interactive Roundtables and Interactive Demo Pods throughout the event.
Kris Nawani Joins the Fireside Chat as a Speaker
One of the key highlights of the event was Kris Nawani, Co-Founder/Director of BMSP, who was invited to join the Fireside Chat as a speaker in the session titled “Real-World AI Adoption & SOC Transformation.”
The session provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the practical adoption of AI within organizations and the transformation of the Security Operations Center (SOC) at a time when AI is becoming increasingly important in detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats.
Key discussion points also included how organizations can integrate AI into their existing workflows, how Security teams need to adapt, and how organizations should prepare to ensure that AI adoption can deliver tangible benefits.
Kris exchanged perspectives with experts from Securonix and vCyber, bringing together viewpoints from technology developers, cybersecurity service providers, and real-world experience in implementing solutions within organizations.
AI and the Transformation of SOC Operations
Another key focus of Securonix UnSummit Singapore 2026 was demonstrating how AI can be practically applied to Security Operations, rather than presenting it merely as a concept or a vision of future technology.
During the event, Securonix provided participants with hands-on exposure to its technologies through Interactive Demo Pods, showcasing the capabilities of Agentic Mesh, Threat Research Agent, and SAM (AI Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst) in real-world operating environments.
The role of AI in Security Operations is therefore expanding beyond being a tool for data analysis to supporting various stages of operational workflows. These include event analysis, threat investigation and understanding, incident prioritization, and helping Security teams manage large volumes of data and alerts more efficiently.
However, adopting AI within the SOC must also be considered alongside People, Process and Technology (PPTs) including operational processes, workforce readiness, the definition of roles between humans and AI, and appropriate governance frameworks.
The goal of AI adoption is to use technology to enhance capabilities, reduce unnecessary workloads, and enable personnel to focus more on incidents and decisions that require human expertise.
Exchanging Experiences with Cybersecurity Leaders
In addition to the Fireside Chat, the event featured Interactive Roundtables and activities that gave participants the opportunity to exchange perspectives on the challenges facing Security Operations, as well as engage directly with Securonix’s Product and Engineering teams.
The UnSummit format, which emphasized conversations and exchanges among participants, provided broader perspectives on the challenges of AI adoption across multiple dimensions, including technology, operational processes, and organizational readiness.
Moving toward AI-powered Security Operations involves advancing Security Operations as a whole, enabling technology, people, and processes to work together and support one another more effectively.
