Here are some highlights from SOCommunity Night Bangkok: Advancing Modern Security Operations, held on July 8, 2026, at Bangkok Heightz Rooftop Restaurant. The event was co-hostedby BMSP and Securonix to provide a platform for customers, cybersecurity experts, security operations practitioners, and industry stakeholders to connect, exchange insights, and discuss the future directionof modern security operations.
Throughout the evening, participants had the opportunity to explore key cybersecurity trends, particularly the growing role of AI-driven Security Operations and Automation in enhancing the capabilities ofSecurity Operations Centers, or SOCs. These technologies are helping SOC teams detect, analyze, prioritize, and respond to threats with greater speed and accuracy. This aligns with the event’s focus onstrengthening cyber threat defense and helping organizations address today’s increasingly complex threat landscape more effectively.
One of the key highlights of the event was the session “Securonix Agentic AI & ThreatQuotient Threat Research Agent – Redefining the Modern SOC.” The session introduced a new perspective ontransforming SOC operations through the use of Agentic AI and Threat Intelligence. These capabilities can help organizations conduct deeper threat analysis, reduce the workload of security teams, andimprove decision-making based on more relevant and actionable data. The session also demonstrated that applying AI in security operations is not only about increasing speed, but also about enabling SOC teams to focus more effectively on high-risk incidents that require strategic response.
Another important session was “Platform in Action – Real-World Security Operations Use Cases,” which showcased practical security operations use cases based on real-world scenarios. Participantswere able to see how the platform can be applied in practice and how these approaches can be adapted to their own organizations. The session covered areas such as advanced threat detection, correlation ofdata from multiple sources, abnormal behavior analysis, alert noise reduction, and more systematic incident response.
The event also addressed several key challenges currently faced by security operations teams, including the continuously increasing volume of alerts, the cybersecurity talent shortage, the complexity of cloudand hybrid environments, and the constant evolution of attacker techniques. These factors are driving organizations to look for new ways to modernize their SOCs, making them more agile, scalable, andcapable of responding to incidents faster and more effectively.
SOCommunity Night Bangkok served as a valuable forum for knowledge sharing among customers, experts, and leaders in the cybersecurity industry. Participants had the opportunity to engage indiscussions, ask questions, exchange use cases, and connect closely with industry specialists. The event created a productive environment for conversations around strategy, technology, and practicalapproaches to strengthening organizational security.
Toward the end of the evening, attendees also joined a dinner and networking session, providing an important opportunity to continue conversations, exchange perspectives, and build stronger relationshipswithin the cybersecurity community. As organizations face a rapidly changing threat environment, having access to a trusted network of experts and partners who understand the challenges of securityoperations has become an important factor in helping businesses manage cyber risk with greater confidence.
BMSP would like to thank Securonix, as well as all customers, partners, and participants who joined us and contributed to the success of SOCommunity Night Bangkok: Advancing Modern SecurityOperations. We hope this event served as a meaningful platform to inspire new ideas, broaden perspectives, and support organizations in applying concepts such as AI-driven Security Operations, AdvancedThreat Detection, and Modern SOC to further strengthen their cybersecurity capabilities.
We plan to continue hosting this community initiative to help grow Thailand’s cybersecurity ecosystem through knowledge sharing, real-world experience, and insights from industry experts. By creatingopportunities for connection and collaboration, we aim to support the advancement of Security Operations across Thai organizations and help build a stronger, more resilient cybersecurity community.
